Do you have a deep knowing within you that Internet Marketing is the answer to your dreams but somehow can’t seem to materialise what you had hoped for?

Well you are not alone. Alex Jeffreys, (My coach and mentor) said on our training this week, “Internet Marketing is Simple,- but not easy”. I know this to be true, because for the last 20 months or so I have searching online for breakthroughs; bought e-books, courses, down loaded every freebie; you name it. Been there and bought the T shirt.

I have 3 Tips for you to take away from here.

I must say this “online learning” time has been a real roller coaster ride, with many ups and downs.

Would I redo it and go through this experience again?

     Sure!

I have learnt a great deal about myself; the Internet, webpages, html, marketing, ect. I’ve grown as a person in skills, knowledge and confidence. Due to the many disappointments along this journey, (at this point I must confess) if I never had the drive to succeed in this I would have given up a long time ago.

Tip 1. If there is anything for you to take away from this is: “NEVER GIVE UP!!!”

Alex gave us another quote: “When preparation meets Opportunity, it equals Success”.

All trails and hard ship are part of that preparation. Sure having a coach or mentor cuts that journey time as they steer you clear of any detours, but there are certain things that you need to experience for yourself, to really learn.

You see up until now I have been a real poor learner when it comes to marketing. I could not fathom why every one else seemed to be making money on the Internet and all my efforts just plain sucked.

Why?

Tip 2. I was chasing the money, instead of letting the money chase me. To put it crudely, I am ashamed to say I’ve been guilty of pimping my stuff.

As Alex Jeffrey’s student I can now see the error of my ways. I just never understood how to market correctly, the way he teaches. So I guess the moral is:

Tip 3.  We never stop learning!

Jim Rohn, the legendary teacher, trainer and mentor to millions worldwide shares his philosophy on life,  personal development and business.

  1. The mindset you are showing is the right ingredient to succeed.
Another ingredient is the art of anti-marketing, as per my blog.
